My name is Lindsay and I work in a large North London School. I have been a science teacher for 13 years and a head of year for 4 years. I am passionate about both the pastoral and the teaching roles I play and love to discover new strategies to try both in class and with my year group.
I am currently using SOLO taxonomy as a way of structuring and building challenge in my success criteria each lesson. I #RAG123 mark every book (pretty much) every day, use DIRT as a regular starter activity with every class and set homework via classroom.google.com using takeaway homework.
I am currently working on my Masters dissertation on my research into SOLO, planning a whole-school  introduction to SOLO taxonomy, preparing 252 year 11 students for GCSE’s and beyond and trying to convince more of my colleagues to try #RAG123 marking.

Hi, I just wanted to ask how you create the Educating Miss Logo?

I used a font called DK Crayon Crumble. It looks like chalk on a blackboard. I then turned the M sideways to make an E. The book at the end was from the wingdings font.
